Hey Product Hunters! Finding *good* movies to watch has been a pet peeve of mine for a while now. I always seemed to default to using IMDB, which is clunky and hard to use. So as little side project we whipped up Film Hunt - which organises IMDBs top rankings by genre, year and makes them nice to look at. Hope you guys enjoy it :)

Cheers. It just uses descending IMDB rankings filtering on genre & year. For some reason it occasionally gets rankings slightly out of order (e.g. 8.7 appearing after 8.6) which is weird, but as it's a side project I haven't really had time to look into it. It's on the bug list :) @patrickedgett

Only back to 1920? Guys, some silent gems would be missing. And the older period recommendations are pretty standard. This wouldn't pass if the intended audience are true cinephiles, these recommendations are Film Class 101.
