During a meeting, a mistake I made nearly led to a major conflict, and I almost lost my job. 😬 The Situation: We were in the middle of a product deployment, and as the team lead, I was responsible for all critical production data. I had saved it on my computer, but that day, it was gone. My boss started to get anxious , asking who else had the data. I soon realized the data was on a computer that had already been scrapped and formatted. Worse, I wasn’t even sure if I had backed it up. Panic hit me hard. 🤔 The Realization: I was terrified to admit the truth. How could I, as the leader, lose something so crucial? At the same time, I thought: With so much on my plate every day, was I really expected to manage every detail perfectly? It felt overwhelming, but I had no choice. I explained the situation to my boss and worked with the team to fix it. 💡 The Birth of CubeNote: That moment made me realize how badly I needed a tool to automatically organize everything for me. I wanted to walk into any meeting or pitch confident, knowing that all key information was instantly accessible, without the fear of losing it. That’s when CubeNote was born. I envisioned an AI-powered file system that auto-organizes files, making them available anytime, anywhere, so people wouldn’t have to worry about being penalized for not being perfectly organized. 🚀 Looking Ahead: It’s still in the early stages, but in a year, I believe people will look back and wonder, "How did I ever work without AI in my file system?" In CubeNote, every note is smart and automatic. 👀 The Aftermath: Even now, thinking about that day feels like a nightmare. My mistake delayed the deployment by two days. We had to make countless calls to resolve the issue, and the tension between my boss, my colleagues, and me was palpable. The discomfort lingered for days, and I felt guilty for causing it all. But now, I’m certain—if CubeNote had existed back then, the entire situation could have been avoided.

@ericquans Your experience in developing CubeNote is incredibly insightful, and it addresses a critical need for organization in high-pressure situations!
Eric Quan
@annaho2000 exactly! we have a larger patch coming in 1 month—10x better. every note will have its own AI settings and get smarter (basically each note is a bot). our AI will find tasks from your notes, like searching the web or setting up a google meet. stay tuned!

big shoutout to my CTO, @bliu2320 , the world's best developer, @william_lin3 , UX designer, @kasper_zhang , and marketing lead, @yang_doris I couldn't have showcased such amazing work or imagined the world's first AI file system without their hard work!

The auto-sorting function is amazing. Organizing my notes by hand is no longer a concern for me.
Eric Quan
@zubair_collier yes sir! we wish no one would ever get punished for not being organized enough!
Abid Ali
No more wasting time sorting through my notes! This app automatically puts everything in the right place.
Eric Quan
@abid_ali39 yes, I agree that sorting is a waste of time. We need more time for progress, not organizing!

The auto-sorting feature of CubeNote is quite practical, saving me time on managing notes. Looking forward to seeing more intelligent features in future updates.
Eric Quan
@yunbiao_cheng features in our next patch will make auto-sorting look basic. set a reminder for next month—you’ll be impressed! and with what we’re aiming to deliver, auto-sort could still get 10x better in just a couple of months.
