Hi all, thank you so much for supporting this launch, however today is not the actual launch day!!!! I accidentally left this scheduled for today. (I'm going to call out some questionable UI too – Product Hunt forces you to schedule an upcoming launch, and only within the next 28 days.) But um, this is encouraging for when we actually release and I'm grateful to see the support here 🫶 Reached out to PH on twitter to see if we can unlaunch this or something.

@phillryu downloaded v1 and nah I still prefer default iOS Reminders app. How does the v2 differ from v1 exactly?

@amslu it's properly rebooted for being ten years later, but if you felt nothing using the original it might not still for you. Clear's minimalism (no cluttering the screen with stuff you don't need at the moment), colors and sounds and satisfying gestures tend to connect immediately with some people, and then it really sings in the longterm with that kind of fluency and personalization if you're a daily lister.

@milkers it was kind of an accidental launch (still working on it!) but it has been very cool to see many people remember it fondly and still care for it all these years later 🫶

You had me on the first half – I thought v2 is already officially released. Nevertheless, I’m great to see that one of my favorite apps get’s a well deserved refresh. I’m using the TestFlight beta for quite a while now – great job team!

Clear is one of the greatest iPhone apps I've used. It sits in the pantheon of apps with iconically simple user interfaces and should serve as an inspiration to many UX designers. I'm so glad I'm in the TestFlight for this and am happy to have the nostalgia roll back.

Congrats on the progress! I really like this app, the UI is really clean, but I would really love to see the todos being persisted with a web version so I can manage the todos of my pc and phone as well (which is my main place of work).
