Special amongst the ubiquitous or: Why knowledge sounds a bit like technology In the past months a new technology has reached a wide audience. But most of the products are unable to deliver what the initial idea was: Screen Recorders are becoming more and more a widely accepted form of a new communications method. But, and this is a very big BUT: The idea behind Screen Recorders is undoubtedly a very quick and efficient access to the recorder app. If you have to download software, install software and set up an account, this is not quick and efficient at all. And might be appalling to a lot of users and ruin the idea of using a screen recorder to boost efficiency totally. Hi, my name is Raoul and I work with and for Calipio from the very early hours on. I am responsible for marketing and sales and I am here to answer all your questions. At least the ones regarding Calipio 🤣 Back in the day we decided that we need to make the "better" screen recorder which for us means: Easier to access, quicker to access, less administrative hassles We wanted it to run in any browser on any platform and we kept a free and unregistered version available in respect of everybody who just quickly needs a screen recording

Funny story about how things started: In fact we are lazy as hell and prefer spare time over working time. So during our regular work we found out that we are wasting an awful lot of time trying to gather in various home- and office-offices to discuss certain aspects, features or issues of our work. Online meetings were equally tedious as it took way too long until everybody had time for a quick online chat. So wasting time became a widely accepted thing in our lifes. Describing complicated stuff in e-mails is nearly impossible anyway, so that wasn't an option either. Until finally somebody came up with the idea of creating videos to show and say what we wanted to show and say. And another said that they have to be on one platform, kind of cloud, so that they are compatible and accessible. The third said that they need to be sent as a link, not as a data and time killing large file. And the wise one said they need to be encrypted as we are talking executive stuff. Joe Paranoia said he doesn’t want to install a new tool on his computer, it has to be an online service. And so on and so on. What happens when geeks and nerds have an issue? They create a product to overcome it – welcome to CALIPIO

Looking forward to trying Calipio. I've tried using vidyard but its been buggy and I couldn't ever put it into my sales stack. Hoping Calipio can fill in
