Super cool! Any reason Blink is better than say a Lovable?

First of all, Lovable is a great product - the first time I tried it, I really liked it.
However, I soon realized it's pretty limited in what you can actually build with it.
The problems I found:
1. Super slow iterations: Every edit reprints the same files again and again. This doesn't work for serious projects where you need to move fast and iterate quickly.
2. Static UI only: Lovable only builds the frontend. Zero backend. You still need to manually connect Supabase, which is another level of technical difficulty and a steep learning curve.
3. Manual integrations: Why can't AI code the whole thing? Why do we have to manually set up connections? I LOVE Supabase and use it for side projects, but the way Lovable and Bolt handle it still feels super manual.
So we built Blink differently:
✅ Automatic Supabase setup - Blink runs SQL queries, configures auth, writes and deploys edge functions, checks logs for debugging. All automatic.

When I used to play with lovable, I've noticed it exposed sensitive functions and data to the client-side.

I've met users burned by other AI tools that had to hire an agency to review their app security. It's actually a really big problem!
Blink handles secrets securely for every user, with its inbuilt secure secrets vault. User can add API keys and secret tokens required by their APIs and services in Blink, and data is securely stored in our secrets vault + encrypted at rest.
As your frontend app makes API calls, this goes through:
Blink / Supabase Edge Functions (both use same underlying tech) -- which is deployed securely in the backend only, not exposed to the browser
Blink SDK - which provides a secure HTTP API calling service, that allows you to reference any stored secrets when making API calls directly from your frontend. The call goes through Blink's backend infrastructure, providing a serverless development experience
No matter which path your app goes, secret keys stay secret!
This enables more complex business logic and more valuable app creation without the security nightmare.

@kf_builds that's amazing actually. I was hired a few times by agencies to review their vibe-coded apps on lovable. Most of them exposed supabase creds which I could easily jack and mess with the db.
Great to hear you address this gracefully with sdk protecting the calls and edge protecting the functions.
