• Even stronger app security and privacy. In keeping with our commitment to privacy, the new Beeper includes a major upgrade to security. Users now have the option to run the connections entirely on their device without Beeper Cloud. This means end-to-end encryption is now preserved.

• With Beeper Plus, we’re giving users more tools to communicate how they want, when they want, and with whomever they want. New premium features include:

  • Send Later. Schedule a message to go out at a time that makes sense—not just when the idea pops up.

  • Reminders. For when you’re too busy to respond to a chat or want to follow up later. 

  • Incognito Mode. Preview messages and respond at your own pace, without making the other person feel like they’ve been left on read. 

  • Multiple Accounts. Manage messages for multiple accounts per network. 

  • AI Voice Note Transcriptions. We all have a friend who loves to send long voice notes instead of messages. With transcriptions, you’re no longer stuck listening. 

  • Custom Icons. Apps should be customizable, down to the icon.

• Beeper Plus Plus has the same features as Beeper Plus, but with unlimited accounts and Priority Support.

• Beeper is still free for all users, with bonus features available for paid subscribers.

I went to the launch party in NYC yesterday. Really love Automattic's push into messaging. It makes a ton of strategic sense.

I currently have 7 messaging apps installed for all the different people I talk to on different platforms. That's not including LinkedIn DMs.

I've been using Beeper since the early beta days, before the Automattic acquisition, so I'm happy to see it back and evolving. The new pricing tiers aren’t surprising, and honestly, they feel justified given the complexity of maintaining cross-platform support. My only hope is that as more platforms restrict API access (for whatever the "legitimate" reason), Beeper can continue to be relevant. Wishing the team lots of success, this is a much-needed tool in our fragmented messaging world.

Would love to see WeChat support eventually, I talk to a lot of ex-colleagues in China.

Been using for years - just love it

This is such a cool idea! As an agency owner who manages comms across email, Slack, IG DM, WhatsApp, and texts, I definitely need this. Are ya'll planning any tools that would automate replying to these messages as well? Similar to how Fyxer.ai or Jace.ai prep replies for you to edit and send?

Beeper is solving a very real, very chaotic pain point and inbox overload across way too many apps. This latest update feels like the leap it needed. The combo of Send Later, Reminders, and AI Voice Note Transcription is next-level thoughtful.
