Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Param, founder of Agora. Agora is an AI search engine for e-commerce products. We've indexed 4 million products sold on 8,100 Shopify and WooCommerce stores and made them easy to purchase with a single cart transaction. We launched the search engine on Product Hunt a few weeks ago and received incredible feedback and support from the community. Today I’m excited to launch Agora Merchants, a web dashboard that helps Shopify and WooCommerce merchants sell more on our search engine! Agora Merchants connects to your existing e-commerce store without any painful setup required and helps you track your store's performance on Agora. Why use Agora Merchants? 🔸 Unlike other marketplaces, we don't take a commission of sales. 🔸 Orders are routed to your store's existing point of sale system. 🔸 Inventory is automatically uploaded and refreshed with our crawlers. When an order is placed on Agora, our AI-powered backend purchases the product on your store with the email orders@searchagora.com. This helps us manage the order tracking on behalf of the customer. Agora Merchants is completely free to use. You can sign up to the free Basic tier to automatically upload your products and track analytics including impressions, opens, clicks, reviews, abandoned carts, and sales. By upgrading to a paid plan, you get functionality designed to increase your sales and save you time. 🔹 Store customization: Upload a logo, banner, and tags to help customers find you. 🔹 Verified products: Get more traffic with products that rank higher in results. 🔹 Integrations: Add Agora customer data to your CRM or automate email follow up. I originally launched Agora as a side project on HackerNews to find a pair of red shoes for my wife last Christmas. I quickly realized that some of the best products on the internet are sold by small online stores that struggle to get the same visibility as large retailers. I started Agora on a mission to democratize online commerce. If you sell the best pair of red shoes in the world, customers should be able to find it. So how is this different than Amazon? Both Amazon and Agora give network effects to stores (i.e. if you're searching for red shoes from one store, you may also want to buy a red dress sold by a different store). The key difference with Agora is that you continue selling on your existing e-commerce store, without having to manage inventory and payouts on another platform. This creates a magical experience for our merchants that saves them hundreds of hours. We believe in a future where merchants can sell however they want, we just bring them more customers. And we're already working with some incredible e-commerce brands including Ekouaer, Do Only Good Pets, Calzuro, Skelton Optics, V-Dog, and more. ⭐ As a small thank you to the Product Hunt community, we're offering $50 off the first month of the $99 Starter tier which unlocks 3 verified products, 250 product opens, and store customization. You can subscribe here. I'd love your feedback! You can also reach me at param@searchagora.com.

@param_jaggi3 Congrats on Agora Merchants! 🎉 How does Agora’s AI ensure that scaling the platform enhances discoverability for small merchants without reinforcing the dominance of already popular products?
Param Jaggi
@tonyabracadabra Great question! It's a balance of randomization, customer engagement, and manual curation. For example, we randomize search results of products with the same relevance score. The Most Popular Products on the home page are ordered based on an algorithm of user engagement and conversions. And we manually configure the Featured Collections on the home page to be relevant to events and trends. We recently introduced the concept of "Tags" that allow customers to shop based on values they care about (example here). This is an example of a feature that helps the discoverability of new and small stores. All of that said, we need to do a better job of variance in search results. This will help smaller stores always get visibility.

I bet e-commerce brands love you, nothing quite like selling more & bumping up that MRR - UI looks extremely clean & usable, I'm not a vendor personally although I easily see the appeal for this! Best of luck with the launch Param & team!!
Param Jaggi
@cranqnow Thank you! Appreciate the kind words. We have received a great response from e-commerce brands and are continuing to build more features based on their feedback. I think the key is that we bring them customers, regardless of signing up or subscribing.
Terrence Kelleman
would love to use this but will have to contact support as our shop URL (mightywallet.shop) is not the same as our email. Question: Does this improves SEO as well?
Param Jaggi
@terrence_kelleman Love your store! Going to buy a wallet for my brother for Christmas. I'll be your first order on Agora :) We're going to reach out right now via email to get you onboarded. We can set up a custom account for you. We use the email address and URL matching to confirm that merchants own the site they are signing up with. There are exceptions though that we handle manually. On SEO, we do submit Agora products to be indexed on Google (i.e. about 150k products indexed so far). So what happens is that your products on your Shopify store and on Agora show up on Google. Whether the customer checks out on your store or on Agora, you make the same amount of money.

Keeping inventory data fresh and accurate for millions of products across thousands of stores sounds like a huge challenge. How does Agora tackle this to ensure shoppers always see the right products in stock?
Param Jaggi
@nazar_tekhta Yeah, it's a massive technical challenge. Especially to ensure fast loading speed and consistent performance. We crawl Shopify and WooCommerce stores to index the data into our standardized data model. Then we constantly recrawl all 8,100 stores to add, edit, and delete products. We check inventory and variant data on-demand. When the user lands on a product detail page, we check inventory and variant data for that specific product before the page loads. If a product is sold out, we mark it as "Out of stock". This ensures that customers can only buy products that are currently available. Here's an example of a product that has a lot of variants, some of which are sold out to see how we handle this on the page load.

Super , impressed with how easy it is to route orders to my existing POS system. Saves so much hassle!
Param Jaggi
@rafael_krueger Thanks! That’s the idea: to give e-commerce stores more distribution and save them time from having to manage a new inventory system.

Congratulations on launching Agora! It’s incredible how you’re empowering small businesses while making product discovery seamless for customers. Wishing you and the team great success in revolutionizing e-commerce @param_jaggi3 @alessandro_colombo Plug: Btw I run a SaaS marketing agency (content marketing specially!), do feel free to let me know if I could be of any help.
Alessandro Colombo
@balaji_rao1 Thank you for the kind words! Let us know if you have any feedback to improve the product and let's discuss content mkt in DMs.
Pathange Balaji Rao
@alessandro_colombo Although I am not a store owner to give you the perfect product feedback, I have a few high level feedbacks I would suggest 1. Landing page branding and fonts could be improved a lot 2. Maybe add a snippet of how Agora actually goes onto improve sales for stores - give a workflow or flowchart type explanation to educate store owners who might be interested in using Agora 3. I see generic blogs, but do try including actual case studies 4. For a product like this, social proof is a must. I as a store owner will want to listen to what other store owners have to say about Agora I hope these help, we can explore more more improvements together - share me where can i inbox you

William Jin
This could really streamline my e-commerce store's sales process. How does Agora ensure accurate inventory updates in real-time?
Param Jaggi
@william_jin Both Shopify and WooCommerce stores have public data files and APIs available to check general information, product catalogue, variants, and inventory. It’s about building the crawler in a way to be adaptable to which platform the store sells on and a few custom configurations we’ve seen. When a user lands on a product detail page, we do a real-time check of the variants and inventory. This ensures that we only sell products that are currently in stock.
Ioannis Tsiokos
if only I had something to sell besides my questionable taste in novelty products
Param Jaggi
@ioannis_tsiokos I’d buy that on Agora

Congrats on launching Agora Merchants! The AI-driven indexing of products and the unified checkout experience sound like a win-win for both customers and smaller e-commerce stores looking to gain visibility. I love how you’ve addressed the integration headaches by routing orders through existing POS systems and automatically syncing inventory. I’m curious: as merchants list more products and shoppers discover new brands through Agora, how do you ensure a fair balance between well-known retailers and emerging stores so everyone has a chance to stand out? Looking forward to seeing how Agora evolves the e-commerce landscape!
Rogelio Paulo Jr. Gesmundo
Agora Merchants is going to be loved by ecommerce. By integrating seamlessly with existing point-of-sale systems and automatically updating inventory, it streamlines operations without taking a commission on sales.

Really impressed with the clean interface and zero-commission approach! As someone who follows e-commerce trends, I love how you're helping small stores compete without forcing them off their existing platforms. Smart solution to a real problem. Best of luck with the launch @param_jaggi3
