Why did I build this?
I originally built Accountability AL for myself and a few friends—we wanted an easy way to track our workouts and actually keep each other accountable. As we used it, I kept iterating on the product, and it grew into something I think a lot more people can benefit from.

What’s new and unique about this launch compared to alternatives?
What sets Accountability AL apart is the simplicity of texting to log your workouts. There’s no clunky app interface required for data entry — just text your workout, and the AI agent takes care of the rest. AL's an AI-powered accountability agent fine-tuned with a distinct personality to help you get fit, and AL’s not shy of talking a little s*** to help motivate you and keep you accountable. It leverages multiple LLMs to not only log your workouts, but to visualize your progress, help you backfill entries (“Forgot to log my swim on Tuesday…”), suggest new routines, and analyze your stats.

You get instant data visualizations and insights, and can even ask the AI to recommend changes or tweak your routine on the fly.

Other exciting news about this launch?
I’m especially excited about the Flow Player feature: a built-in music player with curated workout playlists. Not only do you get a free instrumental playlist at launch, but you can control the mix—mute vocals or instrumentals independently, and soon, you’ll be able to do this with your own uploaded music. Plus, new playlists will be added regularly.

Most of all, I’m proud that this started as a solution to a real problem — the challenge around staying consistent with fitness goals — and has grown into a tool that genuinely helps people show up for themselves, one text at a time.
