Hey Product Hunt! We're taking a new approach to the now-familiar premise of an "AI chatbot for your business". Phil and I built Accordian to be different, after hearing a lot of hesitancy from real businesses re: putting a "generative AI chatbot" on their websites. Mostly, we heard businesses share the following 2 concerns: 1) "How can my customers TRUST the answers from generative AI?" 2) "What if the bot doesn't know the answer... will it hallucinate, and mislead my customers?" Huge congratulations to Team Accordian on your Producthunt launch! Your innovative approach to combining AI and verified information certainly sets you apart. One suggestion I'd like to make is perhaps integrating a feature where customers can rate or provide feedback on the bot responses? It could make the self-learning process even more proficient. If I could play an instrument it would be the accordion. ATM I can only play an ocarina but I lost my ocarina so I don't play anything. Does this app let you train the thing on your own pdfs or something?

@lee_fischman Hi Lee, great to hear from others in the industry and thanks for your question! The biggest difference in this regard is our glanceable direct quotations from your official sources, and the citations that link them directly to every single sentence. Our custom algorithms verify each sentence individually against the official content you provide, which is also unique, and will flag any sentences that accidentally slip in without an officially verified source. But most fundamentally, we know it's not enough to take the AI's word for it – which is why we provide those direct quotations supporting each sentence individually, and the ability in one tap to view the quotation in its original content (doc, PDF, etc.).
