Where should bloggers / creators pivot if ad traffic drops (due to LLMs)?
... LLMs can't access) - packaging content in ways people are willing to pay for. But I m curious what others are seeing or planning. If you run a blog / work in SEO / are in some way working in tandem with Ad rev / Google ads / work with ad networks etc - curious to hear your insight. Comment from Nika(@busmark_w_nika): @dzaitzow  Substack also pushes email notifications so more likely users press buttons to visit paid channels :) Comment from William ... ... moving from content for clicks to content people will actually pay to belong to , emphasis on belong to. Comment from Nastassia(@nastassia_k): I m exploring the same question right now, but more from the perspective of personal brand vs

How to reach your target audience and stand out to LLMs
... beginning, and I ve got a lot more to share. I ll be diving into it with some fellow YC alums on August 9 at The To Do List Summit in San Francisco, sponsored by Sentry, Brex, and Tandem. It s a one-day event for early-stage founders to learn how to execute on comms, video, social, and events and reach their target audience in a very crowded market. We ve got just a few more spots left ... ... point, we use AI isn t a differentiator. Models are quickly becoming a commodity. So if you re leading with AI in your one-liner, it s worth asking: does that truly set you apart? When it comes to competitors

YC deadline in <2 weeks; Who's applying?
... cheer you on! If you're doing a startup and not applying, why aren't you applying? If I were starting a company today, I would 100% apply even though I've done it before with @Tandem (S19) for a few key reasons: The partners help. A lot . (this isn't common. Most people who say they help startups are neutral or harmful) The network is insane , especially for b2b companies. It will accelerate your G2M like nothing else ... ... actions A rules marketplace (like block weekend deploys or require senior approval for prod ) A built-in text-to-SQL engine to answer questions like What rules were bypassed in Q2?" We ve tested across high-volume repos like vscode

Interaction design gold: Benji Taylor wrote a piece on the magic of Honk
... huge fan of @Honk . Around the same time, I was working on realtime interactions and presence for @Tandem , and we explored some similar interactions. In particular, I loved @bernatfortet 's " High-five ". Benji Taylor and Honk took it further, with many delightful interactions like Emoji battles, presence/attention signals, rock-paper-scissors, and more. Check out his piece here: https://benji.org/honkish Let me know your favorite interaction below! Comment from Rajiv Ayyangar(@rajiv_ayyangar): @captnphilip  absolutely! Comment from Rajiv ...

What do you prefer for brainstorming - Miro, Figjam or other?
... Here at Product Hunt, we found that we were slowly shifting away from @Miro and defaulting to @Notion for typing up brainstorming notes during meetings (we use @Tandem so already have built-in breakout rooms, ambient music options and timers). So we decided to cancel our Miro account and continue to use Notion or switch to a Figjam board if we really needed a sticky notes format (we're already using Figma so it helps reduce the number of tools ... ... whole brainstorm into a summary and actionable immediately. If it's with a Team, I'd say whatever most folks will revist or be able to feel the most comfortable. I've often found Miro works pretty well or alternatively

What is the best AI notetaking tool that doesn’t actually “join” the call?
... like I should ask permission (just as when someone records the call - I m honestly not sure there is really any difference). Ideally one that works crossplatforms with any video conferencing tool since I use Zoom, Google Hangouts, Tandem and Facetime! Comment from steve beyatte(@steveb): To my knowledge, @Granola and @Krisp are the two that don't join the meeting and record and transcribe directly from your computer's audio. Comment from Darya Nazarava(@darya_nazarava): @MeetGeek offers both ... ... every time Comment from Taka Shirasu(@taka_shirasu): JotMe focuses on transcription and meeting recording without joining the meetings. It's a desktop app that transcribes the audio on your computer so it will work for Zoom, Google Hangouts, Tandem

What's in your dock?
... discover some new products I hadn't seen before. I'm also just a big fan of desktop apps over web apps. I find it a lot easier to stay focused when I'm flipping between apps vs flipping between tabs. These are the apps in my dock: @Google Chrome - Pretty basic. I've really been considering switching over to @Horse though. @Slack - The de facto option. @Superhuman - Maybe the fastest I've become a fan of a product ... ... This + @Neovim is just @Claude by Anthropic - This has been my LLM of choice for a while, and I really like having it as a desktop app. Especially the keyboard shortcut to quickly bring it up and ask something. @Tandem

I'm the Product Hunt CEO, and I've launched 8 times on PH. AMA (unfiltered)
... Product Hunt changed my life . A year ago I stepped in as CEO, and a couple weeks ago we launched Product Forums (which you're reading this on!). Before that I founded and launched @Tandem (virtual office - YC S19), and @Cryptagon.io . Ask me anything about Product Hunt, launching, startups, YC, or what we're trying to do with forums! Comment from Victoria Wu(@victoria_wu): I see that forums are a great way to stay connected with the community even ... ... better than trying to make things perfect Comment from Marc Milberg(@marc__milberg): Hey @rajiv_ayyangar I have a few questions for you. 1. Do you feel like YC was a critical part of your journey? How would have Tandem
