YC just dropped their new RFS for F25 — anyone building in these spaces?
... Combinator recently published their latest Request for Startups (RFS) for the Fall 2025 batch and it s packed with some really interesting problem spaces. https://www.ycombinator.com/rfs I m curious is anyone here already building something that aligns with one of these ideas? Or considering pivoting toward one? Also, are you applying to YC this batch? Would be cool to hear what you re working on (or thinking about applying with). Always fun seeing how others interpret the RFS prompts ...

Do ideal work conditions matter to you or can you work from anywhere?
... focuses differently. And for a lot of people, where and how they work makes a huge difference . Some need silence. Others need background noise. Some can t stand the cold, others lose focus if it s too warm. Coworking spaces? Only if they have the right vibe. Offices? Only if colleagues aren t interrupting every five minutes. Personally, I m flexible about location. I can work from pretty much anywhere. But I do have two must-haves: a proper mouse ... ... from Aleksandar Blazhev(@byalexai): @ricalgmn  yeah. The best setup at home is always a great investment. Comment from Ayush(@ideatbd): I work remotely but hate being restricted to my desk, so I often work from cafes or coworking spaces

Does anyone else feel like smart home tech forgot about…actual homes? 🏡🤔
... much of smart home feels designed for showy demos, not real spaces. Giant hubs, bulky adapters, light strips you have to hide all in the name of being smart. When did we decide that cluttered = innovative? That s what made InvisOutlet Pro click for me. It s a smart outlet that actually respects your space

Why IdolLink Isn’t Just Another Fan App – It’s a home for Idols
... everyone who checked out IdolLink on launch day your support means the world. I wanted to share a little more about why I created IdolLink, and why this is so much more than a K-pop app or fan space. What is IdolLink really about? While fans often get safe communities, idols rarely get that same ... ... grace. A Home, Not Just a Platform IdolLink is more than digital content. It s a home for idols: A space

I built a (very) successful first startup that's generating a lot of revenue. Now I'm building Glint
... world. Why we built Glint: Most collaboration happens across fragmented tools - information gets lost between meetings Teams waste time trying to find where files were shared or decisions were made Traditional calls end and everything disappears - Glint spaces remain exactly as you left them We needed a central hub that's both the meeting AND the workspace Key features: Persistent spaces

I'm Mario, co-founder of Upstream.so, on an indie journey building Glint.so
... years. While scaling Upstream, I've been working on my second startup called Glint - "The Digital Hangout For Getting Things Done." It transforms how teams collaborate by combining video calls, screen sharing, collaborative whiteboards, and co-browsing in persistent spaces that remain after meetings end. What makes Glint special is that it feels natural - more like hanging out with colleagues than formal video meetings. You can transform any website into a collaborative space
