I'm a high school student who builds apps. Here's everything I've dealt with so far.
... last year has been an enlightening experience for me and I couldn't be more grateful for all the acquired knowledge, so I've made a short recap for this project, on a one-challenge-one-milestone basis. Registering a company and maintaining a business: being underage makes this process insanely difficult. For context, I live in Mexico and I'm 17 years old. To register a company here, I would've had to make any of my parents ... ... compared to Mexico and I pay 10% less taxes. Signing up to developer programmes: this was everything but seamless. After about two months with back and forth conversations with Apple, we finally came to an agreement where my mom basically

Seeking feedback from knowledge podcast lovers
... demand. I am seeking some early adopters to test it out and provide feedback on a near-scrappy PoC. Anyone that enjoys listening to knowledge-based podcasts is ideal. Anyone who is just curious is welcome too, of course! Alternatively, if you're someone who feels overwhelmed with amounts of information and news to keep up with, this could also be a tool for them. I am giving access on a daily basis

Skype closed down - here are top 6 Skype alternatives for international calls
... life disappeared. It felt the same way as if, one day, nobody would be playing on Call of Duty 2 servers anymore (that hasn t happened yet, right?). Anyway, here I ve compiled a list of the top 6 alternatives to Skype for international calling. I used the following criteria to select them: VoIP-based . That means I only need an internet connection to use the service. Calls from most SIMs abroad are prohibitively expensive, and eSIMs typically include only ... ... analytics dashboard. That s a helpful feature if you have a lot of no-answer calls and you want to analyze what s going wrong. Best for: individuals and teams who want a simple, powerful, and flexible alternative

Replit drove me mad!
... started using Replit about 3 weeks ago. First on a trial basis and then decided to pay the quite ok monthly fee of $25. What I didn't realize back then was that once they got my credit card info they just keep charging for use even if cancel my sub. The thing is that Replit charges 'checkpoints' a 25 cents each no matter what it does. Implementing Google Auth with 2FA or failing over and over again to format ... ... output i Typescript, same result. The checkpoints just runs away. When the AI fails to solve a very basic

Hi, Mina here, not a fan of using too many new tools on a day-to-day basis!
... everyone. Excited to be here. :) I've working in marketing for 9 years and we need to juggle many tools on a daily basis to manage all the marketing operations. With all the new AI tools for marketing, my team and I came to the realization that we're testing tools more than using them at this stage to figure out which one works best for what tasks! So we're currently working on a product called Nily that actually ...

Chrome broke keyboard shortcuts! (via search engines) - HELP
... Chrome's latest update broke hundreds of keyboard shortcuts I've made over the years using their edit search engines feature, and I cannot find a workaround. I basically can't use my browser anymore. It's killing me. Does anybody else use keyboard shortcuts to navigate to websites? What's the workaround? I'd be willing to switch browsers or install a dedicated app. I just would really love to preserve all the keyboard shortcuts I've made. Comment ... ... your workflow? Do you set up custom shortcuts for websites? Vimium requires you to use a different shortcut to access aliases, right? Comment from Alan Rivera(@alan_rivera): I use the vimium chrome extension and arc browser, I basically

Share your BEST organic growth strategy that actually works.
... following: - Adding 200 targeted connections to my Linkedin on a weekly basis. - Messaging them just to connect or to try out my product. - Make sure my profile links to my product. A boring one i know. But it works. I have addedd 3,000+ (targeted) followers to my account in 2.5 months. However, it is not scalable. AT ALL. What's yours? Comment from Tasos V(@cryptosymposium): @gamifykaran true. What is yours though? Comment from Tasos V(@cryptosymposium): @byalexai yeah ... ... exactly. Well, ofc I never meant to post 1 time and to go viral :P That cannot happen. By "not scalable" i mean that, if I always have to do things on a daily basis

Is there a platform where experienced coders get paid to give on demand feedback for newbie coders?
... coders can write code and have expert coders (in an on demand fashion and paid) check said code, fix, give feedback quickly/easily? I'd like to pay for this myself. I'm past the total beginner phase (have built basic things before), but would like to build real products (whilst teaching myself more as I go). Since I havn't have a career as a software engineer I don't really have a strong network of coder types to call ... ... extremely impatient so want this type of help yesterday on a paid basis
